우리 스튜디오의 일상 업무는 장소에 대한 근사치라고 할 수 있는 직관적인 핸드 드로잉으로 시작하여 육안에 보이지 않는 현실을 드러내는 복잡한 매개변수 분석으로 이어진다. 이 작업에서 우리는 새로운 자연을 창조하는 새로운 단계를 취하려고 노력한다. 극도로 인공적인 우주에 닿으려고 애쓰면서 안전과 통제의 요구가 날마다 높아지는 것처럼 보이는 시대에 살고 있지만 불확실성과 통제의 부족을 통해야만 자연을 포용하는 새로운 방식이 드러난다. 우리는 ‘표준’의 집단적 재정의를 위한 중대한 순간에 있다.
The daily practice of our studio pivots from the intuition of hand drawings, as first approximations to the place, to the complex parametric analysis capable of revealing realities often hidden to the naked eye. In our daily work we try to take new steps in creating new natures. We believe that despite living in a time in which the demands of security and control seem to be higher every day, reaching extremely artificial universes, it is through the uncertainties and lack of control that new ways of embracing nature can emerge. We are at a key moment for the collective redefinition of “the standard.”
